The Green Sports Alliance Summit is one of the largest and most influential gatherings uniting the sports and entertainment community around sustainability and social responsibility. Annually, we convene industry stakeholders and feature proven solutions to advance the green sports and entertainment movement.
The sports and entertainment industry is uniquely positioned to make a large-scale impact on the most pressing environmental and social issues facing our world, including decreasing the carbon footprint of many of our largest public spaces and mobilizing communities to take action. The Green Sports Alliance Summit highlights better practices for enhancing performance and fosters dialogue with stakeholders and fans about environmental stewardship and social justice.
Today, the same urgency and commitment to innovation that drove us fifteen years ago remains at the forefront. With just five years remaining until the pivotal 2030 climate milestone, the stakes are higher than ever; we cannot afford to wait.
As we face unprecedented challenges in making our venues, teams, and communities more resilient to climate change, the Green Sports Alliance urges its members and all involved in the movement to stay the course and uphold their commitments to sustainable innovation.
This year's Summit in Miami will feature the theme: "Game On 2030." Our goal is to challenge, serve, and support the sports and entertainment industry as it creates actionable strategies and takes decisive actions toward 2030 sustainability targets.
We implore those who have boldly declared their 2030 sustainability goals to share their plans, inspire others to act, and encourage peers to iterate, re-commit, or take their first steps.
